Installation and Safety Note
WARNING: Turn off power at the breaker and lock it out before opening the dryer. Remove the rear panel, photograph every wire position before disconnecting, pull the old DC97-14486A canister out, transfer nothing from the old unit since the new assembly already carries DC47-00018A and DC96-00887A. Mount the DC47-00016A cutoff at the blower housing and clip DC32-00007A onto its holder. Reconnect spades, reinstall panel, restore power and run a timed heat cycle to confirm recovery. If the new fuse blows again, stop and check the vent for blockage before reordering.
