Important Fitment Note
ADQ56656403 is the revised LG design. If your original filter has top ears or a felt rim seal, this part will not seat correctly — you likely need ADQ56656401 (with ears) or 5231EL1003B (with felt). If your dryer uses the newer lint guide MCK49049101 and guide MEA49050001, replace all three together. Always measure your old screen before ordering.

Installation Note
Unplug the dryer before service. Pull the old lint screen straight up from the front slot, clear loose lint in the channel and on the guide rails, then slide the new filter down until fully seated. Clean the screen after every load to keep airflow clear and avoid overheating.
